Tips on Prompts to Use When Asking about Manuals
This section describes some tips on writing effective prompts when asking questions about the Epson robot manuals.
1. Write the specific product name
Write the specific product name such as “GX series robot”, “RC800 controller”, and “TP4 Teach Pendant”.
2. Clarify what you want to know
Good example:
- I want to know the GX robot’s payload
Bad example:
- Tell me about the robot
3. Explain the purpose and usage
By writing the purpose for why you need the information in the prompt, such as “I need it for initial settings”, “I need it to troubleshoot”, or “I need it to program”, you will be able to get the appropriate response.
4. Write the following information when asking questions about the SPEL+ Programming
- Explain the operation you want to execute in detail
- Clearly state the command and function name you want to use
- State whether you need a sample code
5. Specify your desired language if the language used for the response is different
