Assumptions about the User's Knowledge of Epson RC+ 8.0

Vision Guide 8.0 is an optional addition to the core Epson RC+ 8.0 Environment. In order to use Vision Guide 8.0, you should be familiar with the Epson RC+ 8.0 Development and EPSON Robots. For the purposes of this manual, it is assumed that the user is already familiar with the following items:

• Epson RC+ 8.0 Project Management concepts and usage.
• Creating and editing SPEL+ programs with the Epson RC+ 8.0 program editor.
• Running SPEL+ programs from the Run window.
• The basic SPEL+ language constructs such as functions, variable usage, etc.

Those users not familiar with SPEL+ should attend an Epson RC+ 8.0 training class.
