Resetting IP Address

The following procedure explains how to reboot the IF-80 so that is uses the default IP address, subnet mask and TCP port number

to be able to modify the IP address, subnet mask and TCP port number when they are unknown and cannot be found. Following this procedure, you are able to connect to the IF-80 with default parameters and then modify parameters as desired.

  1. Remove the hopper.

    Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the cover. Use a torx key size 10.

  1. Place selector 1 in Position (1).

  2. Disconnect and reconnect the power cable. (or switch off and switch on the power on the IF-80.)

    The IF-80 will take the default parameters by the new startup:

    • IP: 192.168.0.64
    • SubnetMask: 255.255.255.0
    • TCP Port: 4001
  3. Parameters in memory can now be modified from the Epson RC, go to the [Setup]-[System Configuration]-[Controller]-[Part Feeding] page.

  4. When parameters are defined as desired, set DIP switch in position (2).

  5. Disconnect and reconnect the power cable. (or switch off and switch on the power on the IF-80.)

    The IF-80 will take the parameters defined by the new startup.

  6. Replace the cover and screw the 4 screws. Use a torx key size 10.

    Tightening torque: 0.9 N·m
