Hardware Installation

Epson RC+ 8.0 is used with the Controller. You need to install the controller and robot before you can use Epson RC+ 8.0 to develop and run SPEL+ applications.

You need to prepare the PC which has Windows which can run the Epson RC+7.0, and which can connect with the Controller using USB or Ethernet. The customer must prepare their own USB cable and Ethernet cable. The USB connector type on the Controller is Type-B (*1).

*1: USB connector type for RC800 series: USB 3.0 Type-B

USB connector type for other Controllers: USB 1.1/2.0 Type-B

The Controller comes pre-configured at the factory. For instructions on installation, refer to the following manual.
