Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer Installation

The Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer is a software application that adds manuals and Manipulator information to the Epson RC+ software.

The Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer is available from the Epson Robot Software Installer.

1. Get the Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer from the Epson Robot Software Installer.

2. Make sure that the Epson RC+ software is not running, and then launch the Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer.

3. The following window will appear. Check the content and click the [Next] button.

   

4. To perform the installation, click the [Yes] button.

   

5. The window shown below appears. Wait until the process is complete.

   

6. After the installation is completed, the following screen will appear.

   

   You can confirm the version of the installed Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer in the Epson RC+ software menu under [Help]-[About Epson RC+ 8.0].

   

KEY POINTS

• The Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer can only be installed on a PC that has the Epson RC+ software installed.

• The Epson RC + 8.0 Resource Installer must be run by a user with Administrator privileges.

• The language that appears during installation will be the language set in [Control Panel]-[Clock and Region]-[Region]-[Formats]. However, depending on the country you selected for the Region setting, it may be displayed in English.

• Depending on the version of your Epson RC+ software, the following screen may appear, and the Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer may not be applicable.

  

  In this case, obtain the Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer compatible with the currently installed version of the Epson RC+ software.

  Additionally, note that an applicable version of the Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer may not be available for certain versions of the Epson RC+ software.

• If the Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer is already installed, the following screen will appear.

  

• If the following screen appears, it means that the Epson RC+ software is running.

  

  In this case, exit out of the Epson RC+ software, and then click [Next].

  If this screen continues to appear, restart the PC.

• The Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer cannot be uninstalled on its own.

  Uninstalling the Epson RC+ software will also uninstall the Epson RC+ 8.0 Resource Installer.
