EncReset

Initializes the specified axis’s encoder information.

Syntax

  EncReset axis number [,axis number]

Parameters

  • axisNumber
    Specifies the axis number to initialize in integers.

Description
Clears the specified axis’s multi rotational information and error state.

Note


Before executing this command, move it to the basic orientation or the point data for calibration. The basic orientation varies depending on the manipulator. The point data of the calibration is used when it is difficult to be in the home position. Determine the orientation that is easy to check the accuracy beforehand and write down the pulse value.
Depending on the Manipulator, it may specify multiple axes simultaneously. After executing the command, perform calibration if necessary.
For details on the basic orientation and specifying the axis, refer to the “Calibration” section in each manipulator’s maintenance manual.
