Software

Epson RC+ 8.0 needs to be installed to your development PC. To communicate with the Controller, the computer should support USB 1.1 / 2.0 / 3.0 (*1) or Ethernet communication. The customer must prepare their own USB cable and Ethernet cable.

Software license are available for purchase at the following times.

  • Purchased at the same time as the product
  • Purchased later when actually used

Using Epson RC+ 8.0, you can develop application software for the SPEL+ language that runs in the RC700 controller.

*1: USB connector type for RC800 series: USB 3.0 Type-B

USB connector type for other Controllers: USB 1.1/2.0 Type-B
