How to Recover from Stopping by SLP

If the robot is stopped by the SLP (detection of intrusion into the restricted area), move the robot outside the restricted area according to the method described below.
Perform this task after checking the "Safety Manual". You must take proper safety measures in situations where the robot may fall under its own weight when the brake is released.

Robot type Recovery method
6-axis robot

1. Turn the controller OFF.

2. Disconnect the wiring from the fieldbus module so that it is not connected to the PLC.

3. Turn the controller ON.

4. Connect the controller with the PC and release the brakes from RC+.

5. Manually move the robot position outside the restricted area.

SCARA

J1, J2, J4

1. Turn the controller OFF.

2. Manually move the robot position outside the restricted area.

J3

After turning the robot ON, manually move the robot position outside the restricted area while pressing the J3 brake release switch.
