PrecisionSearchAngleMargin Property
Applies To
Vision Objects: GeometricFusion, GeometricNeural
Description
Specifies the margin for the search start position of the pose (angle) during detailed search.
Usage
VGet Sequence.Object.PrecisionSearchAngleMargin, var
VSet Sequence.Object.PrecisionSearchAngleMargin, value
- Sequence
- Name of a sequence or string variable containing a sequence name.
- Object
- Name of an object or string variable containing an object name. The object must exist in the specified sequence.
- var
- Real variable that will contain the value of the property.
- value
- Real number or expression for the new value of the property.
Value
Real number in degrees from 0 to 90.
Default: 10.0
Remarks
The PrecisionSearchAngleMargin property adjusts the margin for the search start position of the pose (angle) during detailed search. For GeometricFusion objects, it becomes effective when the PrecisionSearchEnable property is set to True. For both GeometricFusion and GeometricNeural objects, detailed search is performed after the coarse search by AI. However, the pose (angle) output from the AI coarse search has large errors. If detailed search is performed with large errors, there is a possibility that correct detection results cannot be output. By setting a larger value for the PrecisionSearchAngleMargin property, the search start position for the angle can be widened in the detailed search, allowing for search that accounts for errors. However, widening the search start position increases the search processing load and may result in longer processing times. Adjust the balance between detection results and processing time.
