Applies To
Vision Object: GeometricPlus, GeometricFusion
Description
Specifies whether to perform a detailed search.
Usage
VGet Sequence.Object.PrecisionSearchEnable, var
VSet Sequence.Object.PrecisionSearchEnable, value
- Sequence
- Name of a sequence or string variable containing a sequence name.
- Object
- Name of an object or string variable containing an object name. The object must exist in the specified sequence.
- var
- Boolean variable that will contain the value of the property.

- 0 - False: Do not perform detailed search.
Default:True
Remarks
The PrecisionSearchEnable property is used when you want to perform a detailed search. When set to True, the position accuracy during detection is improved and the variation in detection position can be reduced. However, processing time increases because detailed search is executed.
When using GeometricFusion objects, setting the PrecisionSearchEnable property to True makes the output Angle result range from 0 degrees to 360 degrees. When set to False, the range is 0 to 180 degrees. For GeomPlus objects, the output range of the Angle result is not affected.
