PrecisionSearchEdgeDensity Property
Applies To
Vision Objects: GeometricPlus, GeometricFusion, GeometricNeural
Description
Specifies the edge density of the image during detailed search.
Usage
VGet Sequence.Object.PrecisionSearchEdgeDensity, var
VSet Sequence.Object.PrecisionSearchEdgeDensity, value
- Sequence
- Name of a sequence or string variable containing a sequence name.
- Object
- Name of an object or string variable containing an object name. The object must exist in the specified sequence.
- var
- Integer variable that will contain the value of the property.
- value
- Integer value or expression for the new value of the property.
Values
- 1 - Medium
- Vision constant: VISION_PRECISIONSEARCHEDGEDENSITY_MEDIUM
- 2 - High
- Vision constant: VISION_PRECISIONSEARCHEDGEDENSITY_HIGH
- 3 - Very High
- Vision constant: VISION_PRECISIONSEARCHEDGEDENSITY_VERYHIGH
Default:1 - Medium
Remarks
The PrecisionSearchEdgeDensity property adjusts the edge density of the image used during detailed search. For GeometricPlus and GeometricFusion objects, it is effective when the PrecisionSearchEnable property is set to True. For GeometricNeural objects, it is always effective. The similar DetailLevel property adjusts edge density based on contrast level, while the PrecisionSearchEdgeDensity property adjusts the amount of edges retained as representative edges after edge extraction. The Medium setting provides edge density similar to the conventional Geometric object. When set to High or Very High, the edge density increases. Increasing edge density can reduce variations in detection position, but increases processing time.
