Sample 4: Discharging the Workpiece Using the Optional Purge Gate
This is an example of a sequence that opens the purge gate, discharges the workpiece, and closes the purge gate.
Enable the purge gate in advance. See below for more details.
Device Setting - Purge Gate
The purge gate unit is assumed to be set to [Left Discharge].
The purge gate [Open] and [Close] commands return control immediately without waiting for the operation to be completed (asynchronous control). Therefore, set a wait time after these commands.
Note that shortening the [Open] wait time in No.2 can be effective in shortening the takt time, as the workpiece will start being discharged before the purge gate is fully open.
